| We at Periodontal Surgical Arts, believe in the overall welfare of our patients but also advocate doing our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Following the mandate from Governor Abbott and the Texas Board of Dental Examiners, we are following distancing guidelines. This includes minimizing the number of patients and team members in the practice at one time. Also, patients are being treated one at a time on a personalized basis. We do require that patients wear face masks and screen themselves prior to visiting. Thank you for your understanding. |
Surgical TeamLourdes, RDASurgical Coordinator  Lourdes is native Texan from Brownsville. She moved to Austin because she came to visit and fell in love with the beautiful city, got married, and moved here. She attended Homer Hanna High before attending Delynn Beauty College and then after 20yrs she went back to school and got her Dental Assistant Certification. In her spare time, she loves gardening, sewing, and all outdoor activities. She lives with her husband and two daughters. She loves her boss! Dr. Yu and co-workers."Absorbing all of the new therapies and techniques along with our continuing education excites me every day." Aaron, RDASurgical Coordinator  Aaron grew up in Scranton, PA and moved to Austin in 2010 due to his mother's health—Austin food and culture added a pleasant bonus to his relocation! In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing various sports such as soccer and basketball. He is also musically talented and plays the guitar, piano and violin. Austin is a nice fit for his hobbies!Aaron attended dental assisting school at Everest Institue for his RDA training. He loves taking care of patients and likes being part of their journey of achieving their dream smile and improving their overall health. He enjoys school and has a long term goal to earn a degree in engineering. She grew up in both New York and Austin and has been around the world. She moved to Austin back in 1994, due to parents job relocation and has been in Austin since then! She earned her BS with a Summa Cum Laude honors degree in Communication Studies with a Minor in Business from The University of Texas. She also studied abroad for one semester in Shanghai! She spends her free time reading, trying new restaurants, exploring new parks, and staying busy with her kids. Ade is married to the love of her life, Robert, who she dated for 8 years prior to getting married back in 2011, they have 2 girls. She loves meeting new people, great co-workers, and educating people in perio. Been here since 2009!"I love seeing our patients so happy after their procedures are complete. I am always energized by the education we provide to patients and to other dental professionals." Linda, RDASurgical Assistant  Linda has lived in Austin Texas since childhood. Her family moved from Snyder, Texas for more job opportunities. She attended Austin Comminity College and has been a Registered Dental Assistant for years. She married her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful daughters who keep her very busy. Linda enjoys crafting in her spare time."I love that I get to work with the BEST Periodontist in Austin-that is my favorite part of my job!." Angie, RDASurgical Assistant  Angie grew up in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. She loves how Austin feels like a small town, and everyone fits in no matter who they are. She went to a local trade school in Austin for RDA, and is specialized in all dental fields, including Craniomaxillo Facial Surgery. She loves to cook, garden, have friends over for dinner, ride motorcycles, and go camping with camp fires. She has two puppies, who are her world! She loves most about her job helping people change their lives and caring enough to want to be a big part of their lives. "Nothing stays the same except for change." |
