Meet Dr. Joelle McRee
Joelle McRee, DDS, MS, is a native of Bastrop, Texas, where she grew up on her family’s cattle ranch. A former 4-H member and livestock show participant, Dr. McRee developed a strong work ethic and appreciation for hands-on care from an early age. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. Dr. McRee continued her education at UT Health San Antonio, completing a three-year specialty program in periodontics.
Dr. McRee is passionate about the art and science of periodontics. She takes pride in delivering personalized care and values the relationships she builds with each of her patients. Her approach to treatment blends technical precision with empathy and creativity to ensure optimal outcomes aligned with her patients' individual goals.
Outside the office, Dr. McRee enjoys staying active on her Peloton bike, taking pilates and barre classes with her mom, cooking new recipes, watching college football, and spending quality time fishing with her husband Mitchell on the Texas coast.
Dr. McRee is excited to bring her expertise and compassionate care to the team at Periodontal Surgical Arts, where she shares a common philosophy of patient-centered excellence with Drs. Yu and Litizzette.
